The NAS Rotherham Branch run regular bowling evenings for adults on the autism spectrum and their carers.
Adults who have a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Condition, or who are undergoing assessment, are entitled to a free game of bowling and a meal. One extra person can also come with an adult, and bowl and eat for free. Additional bowlers are welcome but they must pay to bowl, and order and pay for any food separately. Teenagers over 16 are welcome too, but they must be accompanied by a responsible adult over 18.
These events run on Thursday evenings, every two to three weeks depending on the time of year. The location is Kimberworth Superbowl, Wortley Road, Rotherham S61 1QN. We meet in the reception area at about 5.20PM, and we start bowling at about 5.30.
You must be a registered member of the Branch to take part. Registration is free, and you can join by visiting the 'Branch Membership' page, or an organiser will be on hand on the day with registration forms.
